Do You Know The POWER Secret Used By Everyone Who Is A Mega-Success?

“Every single person who is super successful always says that following your bliss or following your passion is the way for you to be the most successful and empowered person.” ~ Oprah Winfrey

Do you count yourself among the “super successful”? Is your career, job, or business everything it could be? Everything you want it to be? Are you achieving the highest levels of joy, success, income and wealth that you could? Are you making the kind of income that you want or that you deserve?

If not, why not?

For many people there is a gap between what they tell the world, what they tell their friends and family about how things are going for them, and what is really true for them (or that they believe is true) once you scratch the surface.

Often when I’m speaking to a group at a conference or convention, I ask people how they’re doing. How is their career, job or business? Is their life everything that they want it to be? If it’s a public discussion, the answer is filled with sunshine and roses. They’re embarrassed to admit what’s really going on or they’re trying to gain new clients or impress me or someone else, so they don’t dare talk about what’s really happening for them.

But later when we have a private conversation, they often reveal a much darker and unhappy side of their professional and personal lives.

They’re immersed in fear and self-doubt. They’re worried about paying the bills or feeding their kids.

Have you ever heard the expression “another day another dollar”? Of course you have. That is life for so many people. They live for the weekends.

What? Really?

Is that any way to live? Spend 5 days in misery or at least being stressed and unhappy and 2 days trying to forget the other 5. Where did we come up with the idea that that was the way to live our lives? If that’s not the definition of insanity, I don’t know what is.

Why do you go to work every day? Or if you don’t have job, career, or business, why do you want one?

Is it to feel alive, to feel joy expressed flowing through you! And in the process to make massive amounts of money to live the life you desire and deserve! Is that what you said? Or did you say to make money to put food on the table.

Sure that’s a great answer too…and probably a very realistic answer.

Here’s an important truth. Finding and living your life’s work, your passion, the thing that brings you joy, will bring you more abundance than anything else you can do.

That is the absolute truth.

Did you get it? Maybe you want to re-read it?

Oprah says, “If you don’t do what you are hardwired to do – if you don’t follow your passion, it can destroy you. People find happiness in direct proportion to doing what they love and if you don’t do what you love, you die a little every day. If you’re doing something that you don’t love, you feel it. Check in with your body. If you pay attention, you can feel yourself dying a little death every day.”

When you’re living your life on purpose, on point…..the Universe conspires “with” you to help you create exactly what you desire. I’d love to call it magic, but really it’s basic quantum physics.

Now some people will immediately say, “I can’t make money with my passion….it’s not possible.”

That is so not true. You might have to be creative. But anything you love can be turned into profit.

Look, a lot of people have said to me, if your passion is children, you should work in a day care. Not a chance. I don’t have the skill set to work with children at that level. But creating jobs or transit oriented housing so parents can have a great income and live near their homes, rather than commuting hours each way; that’s a great way for me to live my passion.

What about the woman who loved horses? She had studied social work, but being in the government system didn’t make her happy. So starting with just one horse, she created and now runs a successful horse program for at-risk youth.

Or, Sara DeLaney, a judge in New York City whose real love and passion is dogs. After investing in a very expensive legal education and becoming a judge, she realized her real love and passion was dogs. She gave up being a judge and opened up Ciao Bow Wow, a doggy day care in the Financial District. She’s now living and loving her passion.

What’s that you say? You can’t possibly do that. You don’t have the money? A better question is “how can you afford not to”?

Remember that truth that we’ve already discussed? “When you are living your life on purpose, on point…when you’re living your passion…the world just magically opens up to you. The Universe conspires to give you what you desire and need.”

I know when I’m living my passion, my dharma when great opportunities, the right contacts just “show up”. That’s magic. That’s what happens when you’re living your passion and your purpose.

So what about you? What’s your passion that is going to turn on the magic in your life?

What brings joy into your life? Do you know? Are you aware of what makes you happy? Or are you so busy filling your life with obligations that you put off to some future time things that make you feel good. Do you have an image of what your life will look like when you’re finally happy?

If you’re busy living a life of “shoulds” instead of a life of passion and joy, you’re not serving your family or community and worst of all, you are not serving yourself AND you’re dramatically limiting your abundance.

True success comes from listening to your inner guidance and living your passion. That is also where your greatest wealth comes from.

Right now, I bet you’re thinking. I can’t. I can’t change my life right now. I can’t “because”. You might even have a long list of “I can’t becauses”.

Many people have set up lives of unhappiness, drudgery, or lack because they believe they are obligated to others or they need to be needed, or they’re enslaved by some situation.

Here’s another “truth” every person on the planet is free. You deserve to be free to have a life of joy and abundance if that’s what you desire. Do you feel free?

Instead of the list of I can’ts, how about writing down a list of “I cans”? Reasons why you can have a life of joy and passion and unlimited success. If you continue to believe that you can’t have joy, freedom and abundance then you never will.

Isn’t it time for you? Isn’t it time to “find your passion and make it happen”? If you’d like a free mp3 that will help you discover what your passion is, just enter your email and name below and I’ll send you.

Wishing you a life filled with passion, joy and unlimited abundance!

Love and light, Deberah

Is It a Good Idea to Take a New Career Path?

When it comes to a career it can very difficult to know what lies ahead. For many different reasons people can find themselves at a life changing crossroads. This is where career coaching steps in to help.

Deciding to change career can be incredibly risky. Most people will feel that sacrificing a steady job in favour of something completely different is a scary idea that will be met with resistance from family and friends and will lead to a whole range of obstacles in the job market. While these things are definitely worth considering, people should also be aware that most of us will make at least three significant career changes during their working lives.

There are many different reasons for choosing to change career and even if people don’t understand your reasons, it does not mean that they are not important.

It could be that you want to change to a career that better suits your lifestyle. When people embark on a career when they are younger it is not always clear what direction your personal life will take and while a career that requires long hours, lots of travelling and even more pressure may seem enticing at 21 the reality may well lose its appeal after a few years leaving you wondering how to slow things down but still maintain a career.

The situation could also be that you feel you are ready to set up a business of your own having gained enough valuable experience to make you confident enough to know what you’re doing but not really sure how to go about getting started.

Or, of course, it may just be that you are unhappy in your current career and find yourself wondering how you can successfully change career with little or no experience in your new chosen field.

One way of helping to overcome the perils of a career change is to get professional advice from a career coach. A professional consultant can talk you through the best ways to overcome the obstacles that you are facing in the new field that you are heading into.

A career coach’s job is to understand exactly what you want to do and your reasons for doing so and will offer information and advice no matter what stage you are at in the transition. They also recognise that you have invested in qualifications and experience and will take care over exploring related options as well as complete changes.

A career coach will help you to identify your key strengths, specialist knowledge and transferable skills as well as helping you to assess your personality and what you are driven by and what career options are most suitable to you.

Once there is a clear direction a career coach will then give you a plan for your long-term career direction and show you how to change paths and move your career forward. They will also guide you on how to highlight your transferable skills and knowledge in your new career.

Most of all, career coaching can give you a push in the right direction and the confidence you need to embark on the career you have always wanted.
